A small rural subdivision is working its way through local review in the Town of Mukwonago. Autumn Run would create 17 single-family lots on farmland along County Road I.

What is proposed

The Freeman reported in February that the plan covers more than 54 acres of land zoned for agriculture. The applicant reduced the layout from an earlier 18-lot concept to better match the town’s land use plan, which calls for about 3.2 acres per home. The project would use a Planned Development District, and an internal road was planned to connect to Meyer Drive.

Where it stands

Because the property sits within the Village of Mukwonago’s extraterritorial review area, the village also reviews the subdivision plat. Autumn Run was on the Village Plan Commission’s Oct. 13 agenda as Resolution 2026-65, an extraterritorial plat review for W310S8471 County Road I, with Ryan Janssen listed as the applicant.

What happens next

Earlier town records described the remaining steps: approval of a general development plan to create the planned development district, a precise implementation plan, land division and official map approvals, and a residential development permit. Wisconsin Developments will update this story once the plat review outcome is posted.
